Livi Machinery is committed to delivering advanced and efficient poultry farming solutions. Recently, our team developed a semi-enclosed layer house design tailored for a client raising 10,000 laying hens with A-type layer cages.
This customized plan integrates housing structure, equipment configuration, and environmental control to achieve high productivity and animal comfort.

1. House Dimensions and Structure

  • Dimensions: 74 m (length) × 8 m (width) × 3.5 m (height)
  • Design Type: Semi-enclosed structure

The semi-enclosed layout provides excellent natural ventilation and lighting while offering protection from harsh weather. This design ensures a balance between air circulation and shading, maintaining a healthy and comfortable environment for the flock.

2. Cage System Configuration

  • Cage Model: A-type Layer Cage
  • Capacity: 160 layers per set
  • Total Quantity: 10,000 layers

To house the entire flock efficiently, we recommended 64 sets of A-type cages, organized into two rows of 32 sets each.
This arrangement maximizes space utilization, simplifies daily management, and allows easy access for feeding, egg collection, and maintenance.

3. Integrated Automatic Equipment

To enhance production efficiency and reduce manual labor, the plan includes a full set of automatic poultry equipment, such as:

  • Automatic Feeding System:
    A gantry-type feeding mechanism serves two rows simultaneously, delivering feed evenly and precisely.
  • Manure Removal System:
    The flat-belt design, elevated to suit A-type cages, ensures efficient waste removal, keeping the environment clean and hygienic.
  • Feed Storage Tower:
    A centralized feed tower provides continuous and stable feed supply, reducing manual handling and ensuring consistent nutrition for the birds.
